Family Practice
Family Practice is comprehensive medical care with special emphasis on the family unit. A Family Practice provider serves all age groups from adolescents to the elderly. Emphasis is on prevention of disease, maintenance of health and rehabilitation and the care of the patients with acute or chronic illness.
A Family Practice provider is trained to assume a unique role in patient management, problem solving and counseling. This core of knowledge prepares the provider to coordinate total and combining health care delivery for the patient while involving the patient’s family.
